Too late now

By Donald Sensing

Before Mitt Romney got compared to an Etch-a-Sketch, the stock of its maker, Ohio Art, was a hardly traded pink-sheet equity that had hardly budged from $4 per share for weeks, which is where it closed yesterday.

Today, trading volume rocketed to 500 (yes, five hundred) shares from its usual of 72, and the stock opened at $12.50, an increase of more than triple. But it closed at 9.65 and by the end of Friday will no doubt settle back down to about 4. But doncha wish you'd known?
