I always wondered why the coffee at truck stops tastes so, uh, different. Today whilst driving back from Nashville I learned the answer. Caught this tanker on I-65NB.
Now we know: the coffee is trucked in in 8,000-gallon lots. And if need be, they can dump it into the diesel tanks where it works just as well as diesel.
